A donor cornea is treated with the Victus femtosecond laser to obtain a plano disk of intrastromal tissue.
The endothelium is removed and also the stromal disk later.
The patient eye is treated to produce an intrastromal pocket; the donor’s disk is inserted inside the patient’s pocket to increase the cornea thickness.
